The presentation was given by Anna Marzec manager of the PROACTsme project at the Marshal's Office. Anna presented the possible impact of the project's effects on the areas of regional policies and planned improvement under type 2 of improvement, which is a change in the management of the policy instrument (improved management). The change will be implemented through the introduction of new criteria for the selection of projects supported by a given policy instrument.

In the competition for the type of project: Support for the operation and development of business activities, including modification or introduction of new business models. The competition is intended for SMEs wishing to make changes in their business by implementing new solutions or introducing activities in the field of internationalization. The activities will be determined as a result of a consulting service provided by accredited business environment institutions.

Applications will be selected according to the selection criteria, the UMWM and ARMSA team proposed to add a specific criterion, which will be additionally scored. The criterion "Modern business solutions using elements of digital transformation" will reward projects in which the consulting service will include the introduction of modern business solutions, using elements of digital transformation, enabling the reduction of market costs, increasing innovation and/or competitiveness in the company.

Additionally, in order to determine the level of readiness of companies to use elements of
digital transformation, the introduction of a "Digital Transformation Readiness Charter" has
been proposed. Applying entrepreneurs will provide answers to questions covering key
aspects of digital transformation, including process management, digital communication,
security, data use and employee of competence development.

The participants of the meeting were enthusiastic about the presented proposals, the
discussion was very substantive and effective. The discussion focused on refining the
criterion so that the expert assessment would not raise any doubts. Participants shared their
experiences in the field of digital activities, implemented projects in the field of digital
transformation and providing proactive services to entrepreneurs. In addition, some solutions
were proposed with regard to the competition documentation, which would allow for more
efficient management of final products. Thanks to this solution, the implementation of this
competition could have an impact on other activities addressed to entrepreneurs under
regional policies.

At the end, the participants were informed about the upcoming activities within the project
and about the planned steps in the field of improving the policy instrument.

The meeting ended with networking and casual conversations of the participants.
