PROACTsme's 3rd Regional Stakeholder Meeting from P2 Norway!
More STAKEHOLDER meetings have been going on during this semester!
The project partners Møre and Romsdal City Council have invited their regional stakeholders on March 15th, 2024 to brianstorm together around the work lines of the PROACTsme.
The agenda was based on the fact that the whole community (businesses, higher education institutes, public administration, etc.) must contribute and collaborate to secure the workforce and competencies Møre and Romsdal needs for the future.
The workshop revolved around gathering and using knowledge about the actual competency needs we have in the region. This will prioritize correctly and collaborate in ways that complement each other.
Leaders and professionals from the education sector and the workforce met for a workshop to further develop a digital knowledge base about competency needs.
The workshop also had an international perspective, where the University of Limerick introduced itself as an expert partner in the Interreg Europe project PROACTsme, which the county municipality participates in. The university will contribute to PROACTsme with expertise in big data and artificial intelligence. The project's goal is to create smarter and better public services for businesses and labor market actors.
With a total of 26 participants, from among others NTNU (Norwegian University of Science and Technology), university colleges in our region, NAV (Norwegian Labour and Welfare Organization), business associations, and municipalities, we are particularly pleased that the actors who participated want to contribute also in the ongoing work.
