3rd meeting of stakeholders' committee in Belgium

The meeting took place online the 10th of July.

It has been attended by :
•    Two representatives of the Energy Walloon ministry
•    Two representatives of the Regulator 
•    One representative of the Walloon

The meeting was the opportunity to provide an update on project progress and get approved some of them. More specifically the topic addressed were : 

- Reminder of the Walloon good practices shared to the other partners  
- Approval of a second policy instrument to the project: the Walloon Air Climate Energy Plan (PACE)
- Sharing the interesting, good practices shared by the other project partners 
- Discussion about the two topics to be explored in greater depth to outline policy improvements:

• Developing the approach of supporting existing players in the field, both for disseminating information relating to the REC, with a focus on the quality of the information transmitted by these players in the field, and for the community projects themselves, which can also use players in the field as a base or ambassadors.
• The provision of variable-geometry support depending on the complexity and added value (economic, social or environmental) of the project  

Stakeholders were happy and approved the progress of the project. Following this meeting we will identify more specifically what concrete policy improvements we could design based on the two topics mentioned above.
