5 projects in a "Energy community project cluster meeting"
The Lead Partners and some Partners of the 5 Interreg Europe projects (REC4EU - Leeway - SireNERGY - ShareRES - Biowind) met online with the aim of finding solutions, communalities, inputs and possible cooperation areas for the improving of regional policy instruments supporting the development of Energy Communities and Renewable Energies in general.
The event was coordinated by the Interreg Policy Learning Platform and each project presented their partnership, project activities, needs and ideas for co-operation.
Projects, which are all in early stages, were interested to share methodologies on regional assessment and identification of barriers
They will exchange experience in the following topics:
- information on application procedures, finance and equitable energy systems
- support in citizen engagement and information on co-operatives, developed for social inclusiveness
- engagement pathway for stakeholders
- examples of legal frameworks
- co-operation on social acceptance and citizen engagement
- good practices on citizen engagement and citizen support;
It was a fruitful "internal" meeting and it represented the starting point of an enlarged cooperation, which will continue in the future with other similar meetings and events also in presence and at larger scale (with external public). Follw us for more details!
