ARRR (IT) meets high school students: the Young Stakeholders
The Regional Resource Recovery Agency (ARRR), upon request from the school, enthusiastically accepted the invitation to meet high school students to talk about issues related to environmental sustainability.
In particular, the very current topic of Renewable Energy Communities was addressed and the two European projects (activities, objectives, partnership...), of which ARRR is a partner and which have RECs as their main topic, were presented.
- REC4EU - Renewable Energy Communities for EU regions (see link to the project website)
- IN.VE.CE - INnovazione VErde e Comunità Energetiche (see link to the ARRR website)
Among the various topics covered (more or less technical depending on the course of study of the students) the concept of Good Practice, Stakeholders and Governance was discussed.
The students, who for the projects mentioned above will represent the figure of the junior Stakeholder, showed great interest in the topic, participating in an active and participatory manner in the discussion.
ARRR tried to involve them with a dynamic approach, collecting suggestions from them on how communication towards the common citizen can be carried out effectively and how we can involve families in order to encourage them to become part of a local REC taking inspiration from the good practices of other virtuous municipalities.
In the end, 2 questionnaires were administered,
one before the presentation (link here of the presentation),
- ex-ante (link here)
and one at the end of the lesson,
- ex-post (link here), whose results will be communicated shortly.
