The Tuscan territory (ARRR + Tuscany Region) has started the process of involvement of stakeholders in order to create a working group that can deal at local level with the focus theme of the REC4EU project: the Renewable Energy Communities.

With the Resolution n. 336 of 21/03/2022 ARRR, as in house company of the Tuscan Regional Government, was commissioned by Tuscany Region to carry out promotion, information and awareness raising activities around the thematic of Energy Communities. ARRR represents the energy consultancy agency and the one stop shop office for dissemination and information activities in the whole Tuscan territory.

ARRR has, therefore, organised initiatives and events both online and in presence in many cities of the region and met several stakeholders who wanted to know more about technical, regulatory, economic and social aspects of RECs.

During these meetings and workshops (more than 70 where ARRR took part as speaker or organiser) a lot of collaborations and exchange of information were activated with different stakeholders such as:

  • ANCI (National Association Italian Municipalities),
  • Municipalities
  • Common Citizens and Citizens' Associations
  • Consumers' Associations
  • Condominiums Associations
  • Trade Associations
  • Universities
  • Chambers of Commerce
  • Private companies and
  • all entities that want to commit themselves to the realisation and dissemination of energy communities.

In particular during one of these events (Promoter project seminar – 29/6/2023 - Livorno) ARRR presented also the REC4EU project objectives. (click on link)

A section dedicated to RECS was created in ARRR  website at the present link
