RENEWAT Kick-off Meeting in France
From the 11th to the 13th of June, the Syndicat Energies Haute-Vienne hosted the Kick-off Meeting of the RENEWAT project in Limoges, France.
The meeting marked the beginning of our journey, bringing together in person the project partners from 6 different countries: France, Lithuania, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and Poland (who virtually joined the gathering).
On the first day, our meeting began with a short introduction and presentation of each project partner, which allowed us to get to know each other better and understand our objectives and challenges within the project. The presentations were followed by an overview of the RENEWAT work plan by the Lead Partner, SEHV, which delved into the project structure, aims, and management, providing a clearer vision of the project goals.
After a presentation and review of the project’s communication activities and visuals, the partners were invited to visit the “Maison des Energies” and learn about this unique project aimed at educating young people on energy transition. The day finally concluded with the official signing of the RENEWAT partnership agreement.
The second day was also filled with insightful activities: it started with an upskilling workshop on watermills and their restoration given by the lead partner, and was followed by visits to reconverted mills. These on field visits inspired the partners, provided new learnings, and showcased examples of good practices.
After this Kick-off Meeting, RENEWAT partners are back in their countries, sharing new enthusiasm, knowledge, and commitment, and looking forward to successfully working together on the implementation of the project!
