Smart City exhibition in Czech Republic

Between June 3 and 6, 2024, our project partner from Ukraine attended the Smart City exhibition in the Czech Republic.

The event provided a valuable opportunity to acquire new knowledge. One of the key learnings was related to the use of GIS technologies for climate change monitoring, including the potential of rivers, the need for river revitalization, and the use of renewable energy sources to achieve sustainable development goals and energy independence.

This aligns with the project's goal of repowering historical watermills, and using them as renewable energy sources to help local communities achieve energy sustainability.
