SALAM participates in Interreg Europe Project Training Days
On September 26, 2024, the SALAM team took part in the Interreg Europe project training days for second-call projects, held in Lille, France.
The training event gathered lead partners, finance managers, controllers, and communications managers from 78 projects approved in the second call of the Interreg Europe Programme. The three-day event focused on critical aspects of project management, including finance reporting, project activities, and communication strategies.
On the first two days representatives from the University of Florence, the SALAM project’s lead partner, attended sessions on finance reporting and project results. These sessions helped participants deepen their understanding of financial reporting, control procedures, and the programme’s expectations regarding activity and results reporting. The knowledge gained will be shared across all SALAM project partners.
Francesca Torlone (University of Florence) and Alicia Gaban (EARLALL) participated in the communications-focused sessions. The Interreg Europe Communications Team led interactive workshops, where communications managers discussed how to better communicate project stories and adhere to the programme’s communication requirements.
SALAM’s Mission
The SALAM project aims to support public authorities in accelerating the sustainable inclusion of migrants into local labour markets by leveraging their skills, capacities, and ambitions. This is achieved through the development of tailored education, guidance, and learning opportunities.
With the insights gained from the Interreg Europe training days, the SALAM project is poised to enhance its financial management, reporting techniques, and communication efforts, driving its mission forward.
