SALAM Partners to meet in Stuttgart, Germany

On January 23 - 24, 2025, SALAM’s partners will gather in Stuttgart, Germany, to explore strategies for labour market integration, engage in knowledge sharing, and discuss regional and international best practices. As part of SALAM, the event will promote sustainable accessibility to the labour market.

Welcome and introductions from the City of Stuttgart, Volkshochschulverband Baden-Württemberg, and University of Florence
Keynotes:
- Labour market integration of Ukrainian refugees – Institut für Arbeitsmarkt und Berufsforschung (IAB), Yuliya Kosyakova
- OECD studies on immigrant labour market integration in Germany and Europe
Interactive World Café sessions featuring best practices:
- BEF-Alpha: Basic skills training for immigrants
- Tübinger Modell: Fast-track to the labour market
- IQ Netzwerk: Supporting skilled immigrants
- SINGA: Encouraging immigrant entrepreneurship
