Interregional Collaboration on Social Economy in Cáceres
From October 22 to October 25, 2024, the historic city of Cáceres, Spain, hosted the 4th SECON Project Interregional Meeting and Steering Committee, organised by the Junta de Extremadura. The event brought together 28 participants, including 15 project partners and key stakeholders, to advance the mission of fostering social economy innovation and cooperation across regions.
The meeting featured an engaging mix of lectures, presentations, and study visits, providing a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, showcasing best practices, and demonstrating Extremadura’s leadership in the social economy sector.
Advancing Social Economy through Knowledge Sharing
The event highlighted impactful initiatives from the region and beyond. Participants attended a lecture by the University of Extremadura, which emphasised the region’s potential as a model for social economy innovation.
