Cyber Adventure: mystery in the digital world

Pannon Business Network joined to the international initiative European Researchers’ Night program series and opened the doors of AM-LAB Digital Innovation Hub to the wide public for an afternoon and until the end of the night to let the interested dive into a unique interactive and educational program.

The event 'Cyber Adventure - Mystery in the Digital World' provided unique possibility for young and old to learn about digitization solutions, industry 4.0 technology, teaching and learning factory in the framework of a playful investigation! 

As a fictitious crime scene, AM-LAB provided an opportunity for the participants to test their problem-solving skills and to solve a mystery case with the help of AM-LAB and AT.HOME staff assistance by using the digital technologies provided at place by the Digital Innovation Hub.

At separate stations, the participants used the technological background of AM-LAB to get closer and closer to the solution. The investigation was supported by the professional assistance of the local police and the details were reconstructed with help of 3D printer pens and mixed reality was called in. In addition to providing a unique experience, the purpose of the event was to familiarize the participants with currently operating digital technologies through experience-based activities.

The interested could sign up in advance, on the basis of prior registration and half-hour shifts ensures the smooth organization. The program lasted well into the night. The DIH welcomed 107 visitors, most of them families. Child and parent both were able to take part with 100 % success. It was a pleasure that, based on the positive experiences of last year's program, the Digital Innovation Hub was able to welcome also many returning guests.

Am-LAB also actively supports the successful implementation of AT.HOME’s health developments and PBN's international partnership and research projects. Founded in 2017, am-LAB won the title of Best Digital Innovation Center in Europe in 2020, in recognition of EU Commissioner Thierry Breton.
