Grenoble Alpes Metropole at Smart City Expo World Congress

This year, Grenoble Alpes Metropole embarked 10 local companies to the Smart City Expo World Congress, offering them the opportunity to show their innovative solutions for the city of tomorrow to a very large international audience: around 25000  visitors, leaders from government, the private sector, and other stakeholders, are participating in this yearly event.

Grenoble Alpes Metropole, as public global administration including Grenoble and other 49 smaller cities around, in partnership with Business France, the agency responsible for fostering export growth by French businesses, have made available a 60m2 space for them to expose their solution with an interesting price.

It was a great chance for those 10 local start-ups to develop their visibility and that of their products/ services, initiate or strengthen their international presence, develop their business by meeting buyers, principals and decision makers local and international.

Taking part in this event since 2015 is thus an important way for Grenoble Alpes Metropole to support the development of its local innovation ecosystem and promote internationally the potential of its territory. This year 2023 was a success as Grenoble was the most represented territory throughout the congress, among more than 1000 exhibitors.

Visiting the Grenoble booth, visitors could discover a great variety of innovative solutions, from connected sensors, to security and risk prevention, production of green energy, immersive listening device, connected products dedicated to housing, smart data in urban planning, brownfield redevelopment, and others…

This is a small but good sample of solutions thoughts on the territory of Grenoble. Others to come next year!
