The SKALE2CT project reached a significant milestone in Latvia as it convened with key stakeholders on May 30, 2023, at the Parliament of Latvia’s Commission for Sustainable Development, Sub-Commission on Innovation Ecosystem Development and followed by another crucial meeting on June 12 with the Start-up Committee of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These strategic gatherings aimed to introduce the project, unveil its approach and objectives, and outline the forthcoming activities that promise to shape the future of start-up ecosystem. A pivotal announcement was made during these sessions regarding the establishment of a dynamic stakeholder group, poised to actively participate in project learning, study initiatives, and policy enhancement.

Līga Sičeva, the project coordinator in Latvia by Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, delivered an impactful presentation that illuminated the project's multi-faceted approach and its overarching objectives. Liga Sičeva emphasized the project's commitment to knowledge exchange and transfer, and policy evolution, all of which collectively underscore Latvia's potential to continue to provide competitive start-up eco system.

Following the productive discussions at the Sub-Commission on Innovation Ecosystem Development at Parliament, the project's momentum carried forward to the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where the Start-up Committee convened on June 12. The participants delved into the practical implications of the project's approach, eager to contribute to its success. The unveiling of the stakeholder group, a core element of the project, signified the commitment to a collaborative decision-making process.
