This means exploring the information that can be most useful to measure progress towards walking policy goals and objectives. Practical and affordable tools can be adopted and applied where new data is required. Research suggests that an evidence based policy, grounded in qualitative and quantitative data, work best.  

• What data is most relevant for walking and what is also nice to have?

• Are there global datasets that can be interpreted through a walking lens to provide insights?

• How can a baseline be created to best evaluate policy impact?

 In this Online training Walk21 will provide some insights during this session with case study examples.  

It will be an interactive session with a core presentation and discussion points for delegate participation.
