Regional stakeholder meeting Braga

Inspired by the first study visit to Burgenland (Austria) several regional stakeholder meetings took place in Päijat-Häme, Gdansk, Braga and Burgenland. Central topics were the learnings of the study visit and how to make them beneficial for the own regional policy context. Further inspirations came from the first good practice examples identified like school streets in Fingal or the national school street regulation in Austria.

This meetings were key factors for organizing commitment and engagement for effective walking policies within this regions. The regional stakeholder groups themeselves benefit from their participation in the study visits. The exchange with professionals from other countries and the hands on experience with good practices all over Europe give inspiration and strength to bring the change forward.

This documentary gives a short impression of the first study visit in Burgenland:
