On December 13-14, 2023, ADRBI orchestrated two impactful interregional events in Bucharest, Romania, as part of the StopWaste project. These events comprised a workshop and a study visit, both centered around "Enhancing the efficiency of policy instruments for accelerating waste generation prevention," with a specific focus on the challenges posed by "Packaging and packaging waste" in their design and management.

With a shared commitment to fostering the exchange of experiences and promoting best practices in waste management, the first interregional event convened the consortium's partners and waste management stakeholders. The sessions featured interactive presentations, shedding light on exemplary practices, cutting-edge solutions, and sustainable approaches to waste management.

The second day of the event provided a hands-on experience for project partners, allowing them to delve into waste sorting practices at two specialized stations. This immersive study visit offered a firsthand look at the implementation of sustainable practices in the waste management process within the Bucharest – Ilfov region. The events collectively aimed to advance collaboration and knowledge-sharing in the pursuit of more effective waste generation prevention strategies.
