UnicornQuest 3rd Interregional Learning Event in Genoa

On Thursday, 10th October 2024, a key event will take place at the headquarters of Regione Liguria in Genoa, bringing together regional stakeholders, startups, and interregional participants. The day will start with participant registration and a welcome coffee, followed by an institutional welcome and a roundtable introduction of all attendees.

A major highlight will be a presentation on the Smart Specialization Strategy of Liguria, outlining the region’s approach to fostering innovation. Following this, participants will engage in meetings with key regional stakeholders to discuss opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

In the afternoon, there will be a startup pitch session, giving startups the chance to present their ideas, followed by a networking lunch with participants, startups, and working group stakeholders from Liguria. The day will also feature an interregional thematic seminar on Unicorn Forests Regional Assessments, and may conclude with a visit to the University of Genoa. The evening will end with a partnership dinner.

On Friday, 11th October 2024, the day will begin with the consortium meeting. This will be followed by a presentation of FILSE and Genoa Incubator activities and an incubator tour where participants will meet with local startups and innovative SMEs. A workshop will then be held to select 15 Best Practices, and the day will potentially conclude with visits to the START 4.0 Competence Center and the Italian Institute of Technology (tbc).
