LSG meeting in Leeuwarden

In a recent meeting, the UnicornQuest project took center stage, focusing on enhancing startup landscapes and policy frameworks. Led by Lennard Drogendijk, discussions highlighted the project's aim to improve conditions for startups and scale-ups, potentially leading to unicorn status.

A notable proposal emerged called "Founded in the North," advocating for a coordinated approach among startup organizations in the northern Netherlands. Drogendijk suggested collaboration with Bertwin Kampman and Jornt de Boer to align efforts and share project outcomes, emphasizing the importance of integrating UnicornQuest findings into regional strategies.

Looking ahead, key next steps include finalizing the "Founded in the North" strategy, scheduling stakeholder meetings, identifying scale-ups for potential inclusion in the Unicorn Forest, and arranging appointments to explore the Harvard Business Methodology further.

With concerted efforts and strategic collaborations, UnicornQuest project aims to pave the way for thriving startup ecosystems and sustainable economic growth.
