UnicornQuest partners exchanged and met local companies

The second Interregional Learning Event took place in Lille, France, on the 28th and 29th September 2023. EuraTechnologies and Hauts-de-France Region welcomed the consortium partners and regional stakeholders to their premises in Lille. They met in order to exchange with local organisations who provide support to start-up companies through their programs and to learn about the part of the region's policy that aims to make Lille an attractive location for companies and ‘soonicorns’.

The main focus of the meeting was to get to know the local economy. After the introduction of Euratechnologies’ services, the participants learned about the success story of the two start-up companies supported by Euratechnologies – Utocat and Reyouzz.

In the second half of the day, interested parties visited a successful business in the suburbs of Lille, which can rightly bear the title of unicorn company, since they operate their services worldwide and have achieved all this through only 8 years of operation. The partners had the opportunity to learn about the complex method of Exotech, who provides a system of robots to bring items directly to warehouse workers. They offer the complete system of robots, ergonomic workstations, a system of racks, bins, and trays and all processes are navigated by a unique software and with remote monitoring and reparatory systems.

On the second day partners dived into the details of the Harvard Case method with expert support and met with the elected representatives of Hauts-de-France Region.

Finally the partners exchanged about the project progress in frame of a technical meeting. The main topics discussed were project goals, activities and outcomes, exchange methodology, project management, and communication and dissemination.
