The VIADUCT project has taken centre stage as a flagship initiative for knowledge valorisation, presented by VIADUCT partner West Regional Development Agency, Romania, as part of the Harnessing Talent Platform (HTP) initiative. The region is among ten European Union territories selected to receive technical assistance under Pillar 1 of the Talent Booster Mechanism, aimed at fostering strategies to grow, attract, and retain talent.

Marius Niculae, representing West Romania, introduced VIADUCT and its best practices to the Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) Working Group. The presentation highlighted VIADUCT’s contributions to knowledge valorisation, particularly in driving technology transfer and commercialisation through spin-off creation. This recognition underscores the project's role in promoting sustainable regional development through effective collaboration and innovation.

By integrating knowledge valorisation into the talent strategy, West Romania exemplifies how EU regions can harness the transformative potential of projects like VIADUCT to achieve strategic objectives. The initiative aligns with the overarching goals of the Talent Booster Mechanism, designed to address regional challenges in retaining skilled individuals and fostering innovation ecosystems.
