The 1st Steering Group Meeting Marks Progress for WeSTEMEU
The WeSTEMEU project reached an important juncture as it successfully concluded its first Steering Group Meeting during the inaugural Study Visit in Vilnius, Lithuania This meeting served as a pivotal moment for project partners to discuss the project's overarching goals and general organizational structure.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Patricia Illa, Councilor of the Igualada City Council, who extended greetings to the assembled group. Arnau Mensa, Project Manager, and Florianne Yvonne, Financial Manager, then took the stage to present the proceedings.
The meeting, attended by representatives from all participating institutions, focused on several key aspects of project management. One of the primary topics of discussion was the group's calendar, including the scheduling and planning of Study Visits, a cornerstone of the WeSTEMEU project. Participants collaboratively outlined a general organizational framework for these visits to ensure their success.
In addition, the meeting provided an opportunity to deliberate on project communication strategies. Partners engaged in a productive dialogue regarding the management of project communication and reviewed the essential internal management tools. These discussions marked the project's initial decision-making processes and were characterized by transparency and active participation from all attendees.
