WeSTEMEU partners visit the University of Patras

Last June 4th, the Laboratory for Clinical Physiotherapy and Research at the University of Patras welcomed the project partners for their inaugural study visit to the city. The department that received the group demonstrated a strong female presence among both students and faculty researchers. Team members provided context by situating the research group and department within the broader faculty framework.

A presentation emphasized gender-related issues, linking them to the different branches of physiotherapy represented in the department (such as medical aspects and sports-related physiotherapy). Several professors from the department shared their personal experiences and challenges in their respective fields, both in Greece and internationally. Despite taking place on a regular university day with students present, the group had the opportunity to explore firsthand some of the facilities.
