WeSTEMEU project presented by BI RDA at "Voices of progress"

On the 22nd of November 2023, the Bucharest-Ilfov Regional Development Agency’s representatives participated at "Voices of progress", an event which marked two years of activity of the Association of Women in Engineering, Science and Technology, stakeholder in the WeSTEMEU project.

The event brought together experts from various fields to highlight the contributions and crucial role of women in key sectors such as engineering, science, technology, energy, health, research and telecommunications. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the journey of remarkable women from Romania coming from different spheres of social, economic and technological life.

Also, BI RDA representatives held a presentation of the WeSTEMEU project funded by the Interreg Europe Programme and which aims to improve policy instruments related to increasing the number of women employed in the STEM sectors - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
