The Romanian Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity, as a partner of the atWork4NEETs project, will host the next Interregional Training Workshop in Romania, in Bucharest, on 29-30 May 2024.

Bringing together local and international employment policy experts, discussions will be centered on employment policies with a focus on profiling NEETs. This workshop will be aimed at identifying the best solutions to support NEETs.

Key representatives of the Romanian Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity, delegates from the 7 partner countries in the atWork4Neets project, representatives of the European Youth Forum (EYF), the Romanian Youth Council (CTR), and the representative of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will be present at this event, contributing to the training topic during the first day.
The workshop's opening will address the topic of youth employment policies, where each of the partner countries will present how the Youth Guarantee program is implemented at the national level, and EYF and OECD representatives will provide information on profiling NEETs from a European perspective.
Profiling measures and their impact on increasing the employment rate of young NEETs in Romania will also be presented, as well as an analysis on NEETs' profiling related to each partner country.
Another session will be dedicated to a training workshop, facilitated and moderated by two representatives of the International Training Forum (ICF), where the specificities of each Member State will be discussed.
The workshop aim is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and information between experts and to ensure cross-regional learning by developing analytical and synthesis skills to improve public policy tools.

Finally, during the second training's day,  the delegates will take part also in a study visit in which they will receive additional information on how the public employment service in Romania profiles young NEETs.

This event will be an incredible occasion for partners and stakeholders to learn and share opinions and practices, as well as it will be important to reach the project goals related to the improvement of NEETs' profiling policies.
