On 28 May 2024, the Regional Multi-Stakeholder Group (RMSG) convened for its third meeting, gathering 9 participants representing public authorities (Regional Directorate for Environment and Sea), academia (University of Madeira), associations (Regional Agency for Research, Technology, and Innovation), and the project team. The meeting focused on critical topics aimed at advancing the project's objectives and fostering regional innovation.

The session began with PP09 presenting 14 good practices compiled under the Good Practices Guide. These practices, designed to inspire and shape regional strategies, were further examined in a brainstorming session where stakeholders discussed their relevance and transferability to other EU regions.

Participants also received updates on the progress and challenges associated with ongoing Semester 3 activities, providing a comprehensive view of recent developments and highlighting areas requiring further attention. Additionally, the meeting featured details about the 3rd Interregional Event in Lahti, Finland, including key participation information for the workshop titled “Ecosystem Analysis Meets Thematic Analysis.”

Looking forward, the group focused on preparations for a second dissemination event scheduled for June. This event will underline the critical role of stakeholder engagement, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the effective adoption and impact of shared practices and strategies.
