CEI BOOST Regional Multistakeholder group meeting in Funchal

The Business Development Institute (IDE, IP-RAM) held on 8 May 2023 the 1st Regional Multistakeholder group meeting, attended by the IDE team and two representatives of the Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology and Innovation (ARDITI) and the Regional Directorate for the Environment and Climate Change (DRAAC), which are the project's main stakeholders in Madeira.

 

The meeting was chaired by the president of IDE, IP-RAM. Duarte Freitas underlined that the aim for this project is to bring together a group of stakeholders who can share and exchange experiences around the project's central theme, the Circular Economy. Two good practices were also presented by stakeholders, followed by a debate on the current state of Madeira’s Digital and Circular Innovation Ecosystem.

 

Next steps planned are analysing the current situation in the Region, identifying unmet needs and good practices. The meeting participants supported the further plans to explore solutions that are closer to the needs of each one and recommendations and suggestions for improving existing regional policies.
