European Project "CHERRY" Meeting at the Balaton Region
The #CHERRY partners continued their work on the European Cultural and Creative industries with a face-to-face meeting on the 12-13 September, 2023, organised by the Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency KDRIÜ. The Balaton Region, including Veszprém, played an important role as the venue for the meeting.
During the two days the partners discussed the current state of the #CHERRY project and the next steps to be taken. In addition, they examined the situation of each region within the CCI and exchanged experiences with stakeholders to improve the knowledge base within the consortium.
The tight programme plan also included study visits, where the foreign partners learned about the role of the region's cultural and natural heritage in the cultural and creative industries and their interconnections. The aim remains the same: to create a stronger, more coordinated creative and cultural industry across Europe.
