Fourteen organizations accepted the invitation, and more than 20 participants attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, the project manager introduced the planned activities, highlighting how the project can support the organizations and how they can contribute to successful implementation.

The second presentation was given by Walter Dr. Wächter, Chief Medical Officer and head of the public health organization, who discussed epidemiological changes due to climate change. This topic fits perfectly with the first activity of the CLIMATE project, where partners map the exposure of their region to extreme weather events caused by climate change and its social, economic, and environmental impacts.

In the final part of the meeting, Fire Lieutenant Colonel Péter Kiss, a delegate from the disaster management organization, presented the achievements of the LOCALIENCE project, identified as a synergy project, implemented within the Interreg Central Europe Program.

The discussion became very interactive towards the end, with organizations suggesting topics for the next meetings to share their best practices and experiences. We wish the working group much success!
