Region Värmland, Sweden, is spreading the word on the importance of gender equality and inclusiveness for SMEs' competitiveness on many fronts: the first regional stakeholder group meeting of Värmland was held in August and DEBUTING project was also presented at a local business fair in the early days of September.

Gathering together the Region's stakeholders to discuss two Interreg Europe projects

DEBUTING project's first Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting in Värmland was hosted by Region Värmland, the lead partner in DEBUTING project, and Paper Province cluster on August 31st. The RSG meeting was a joint meeting for DEBUTING and another Interreg Europe project, PLASTIX.

The meeting brought together 32 participants, presenting both, the partners and stakeholders of the two projects. The topics covered in the meeting included Interreg Europe programme in general, the Regional Development Programme Norra Mellansverige, DEBUTING and PLASTIX projects and a number of Good Practices from Värmland.

During the next 3.5 years, Region Värmland will continue working together with regional stakeholders for inclusiveness and improved gender equality in industry. Emphasis will be put on sharing experiences, knowledge and good practices with stakeholders from all DEBUTING partner regions.
