2nd Project Meeting in Slovenia- BLED 28/29.1.2025
This two-day gathering served as a key platform for advancing circular planning and fostering collaboration among partners and specialized experts. Attendees exchanged insights, shared best practices, and contributed to shaping policies and strategies that drive the transition toward a more sustainable and innovative future.
The first day featured presentations and discussions on methodologies for gathering stakeholder perspectives, along with inspiring examples of successful practices. A key focus was on exploring innovative approaches that can be integrated into local and regional policies. The day concluded with a scenic tour of Bled, where participants enjoyed its warm hospitality and traditional Slovenian cuisine, further strengthening connections and cooperation.

On the second day, project partners embarked on study visits to Ljubljana, where they explored real-world applications of circular design at Center Rog and Technology Park Ljubljana. These visits provided a valuable opportunity to engage with local stakeholders and exchange ideas. The day wrapped up with a relaxed tour of Ljubljana’s historic city center, followed by a dinner featuring local specialties, reinforcing networking and collaboration among participants.

The DESICE project is dedicated to enhancing regional and local policies related to the circular economy, with a strong emphasis on empowering designers.
