New stakeholders meeting held in Ljutomer!

Municipality of Ljutomer and Development agency Sinergija organised the second Regional Stakeholders Meeting on 1° February, especially discussing practices of connecting hinterlands with city centers from EMBRACER regions and other European areas.

An EMBRACER presentation, highlighting already implemented and upcoming activities, was included but the main focus of the day was on the presentation of practices from EMBRACER regions on connecting hinterlands with city centers from EMBRACER regions and other European areas.
The following practices were presented to the 9 stakeholders attending the meeting: Demand Responsive Transport in Coimbra Region as First and Last Mile, Flexible public transport service in Viseu Dão Lafões and ECOV’s carpooling lines - Private cars for public transport.

The opportunity for stakeholders to be involved in the upcoming project activities was then discussed as well as the current issues related to the use of public transport in the area of the municipality of Ljutomer.
