 Thematic session 3

The green and digital transitions are at the heart of European strategies for fostering balanced local and regional development. Their impact is far-reaching, influencing labour markets, skill requirements, and the overall socio-economic fabric of communities.

This workshop aims to explore how regions across Europe perceive and respond to the social impacts of these transitions, particularly in terms of employment, inclusivity, and skills development. By examining the need for public policy measures to address emerging disparities and opportunities, participants will delve into the critical role of regional authorities in shaping sustainable and equitable pathways.
