4th GOCORE pressure cooker in Debrecen, Hungary

The upcoming interregional event of the project will be held in Debrecen, Hungary on 17-19 September 2024, hosted by Hajdú-Bihar County Government.

The 4th Pressure Cooker, consisting of parallel Peer Review and seminar sessions, aims to explore and identify effective approaches and tools to strengthen actions and enhance cooperation between local actors, with a particular focus on improving urban-rural linkages in the key areas of climate resilience, social inclusion, digital transformation and economic prosperity.

The event will explore strategies to enhance collaboration and social connections in rural and small settlement communities. Key discussions will focus on revealing community capital, harnessing local resources, and creating a healthy mix of collaborative approaches. Methods to increase awareness, engagement, and self-organization among citizens will also be addressed. The goal is to build stronger, more resilient, and prosperous communities through enhanced urban-rural linkages. Participants will gain practical insights and strategies to implement in their own communities.
