The project aims to enhance the development of territories in rural and/or peripheral regions by engaging and empowering communities as active partners in regional policy development and implementation. GOCORE brings effective mechanisms for community engagement and empowerment in regional policy and decision-making by involving, empowering, and demonstrating to communities and regions the power of community participation in addressing today's societal challenges such as climate and digital transitions, and socio-demographic developments such as aging, depopulation and migration.
