THE HERCULES PROJECT HAS BEGUN!

HERCULES will enable seven partner regions to increase their habilities related to
personalized, patient centered medicine and improve their policy instruments to
achieve a higher level of innovation on their health care systems. This will all be done
via the exchange of good practices and innovative solutions. Our partners will analyze
and overcome the main barriers identified while helping and supporting each other to
do the same. This will help decisively to universalize the learning across EU regions
and maintain Europe among the most innovative health regions in the world.

To kick off the project we celebrated a meeting at our partner facilities in Poland. The
host, the partner region of Wroclaw led by Saint Jadwiga Slaska Hospital and the
region of Trzebnica helped to explain the partners their health related plans, of both
the hospital and the region, for the incoming future. They also used this opportunity
to show the partners their premises. During this meeting the partners had the
chance to get to know each other in person, present their regions and share their
goals for this project as well as their starting point. The point of the event was to set
up a base as a preliminary step to identify the best practices to share.
