First meeting of Umbrian stakeholders

Sviluppumbria and the Umbria Region hosted the first meeting of InnoCom project stakeholders on 7 July, with representatives attending from Europe Direct, ANCI, Villa Umbra, Confcommercio and the University of Perugia.

Chiara Dall’Aglio, project leader, presented InnoCom’s goal of improving institutional communication to SMEs about funding calls and other kinds of business support opportunities, the activities planned to reach that goal, and the ways that stakeholders will be involved in them.

InnoCom stakeholders can be from public bodies (municipal, country, regional) and from the economic community, such as SME associations, chambers of commerce, incubators and accelerators. The stakeholders will have an active role in describing their experiences (as providers or consumers of institutional communications). They will also be a sounding-board and their feedback will enable the Umbria Region to understand what elements of communication need improvement and whether proposed improvements are sufficient.
