Hauts de France Stakeholders Meeting
On Thursday, the 6th of July, the European project support team of the European Department of the Hauts de France Regional Council has organized the 1st regional stakeholders’ meeting of the InnoCom project.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the issue of access to EU funding for SMEs with selected stakeholders that work regularly with SMES.
The purpose of the meeting was also to present them the content of the InnoCom project and to gain their active involvement in the project. This first meeting provided and opportunity for rich discussions on the subject, and some success stories and good experiences have already been shared between the participants.
To introduce this 1st stakeholders meeting, the organizers were fortunate to have the participation of the French National Authority to the Interreg Europe programme.
He explained Interreg's expectations regarding this type of project and also regarding stakeholder participation.
“You can't build a project like this on your own! You need to get all the stakeholders involved in supporting SMEs with EU funding around the table.”
He also gave several examples of interregional exchanges in Europe. "Learning from our European neighbours about their good and bad practices will enrich your future project".
