Innovative Communication of Cohesion Funds

Sviluppumbria and the Umbria Region participated as invited speakers in a Roundtable on Innovative Communication of Cohesion Funds and Enhancing the role of Europe, held in Rome on 22 May as part of Forum PA 2024. This year a major focus of the event was digitalisation and AI. The Roundtable brought together representatives and communication officers from DG Regio, Regions, Ministries as well as Universities and experts.

In addition to discussing participatory platforms and tools, and the risks and opportunities of AI in communications, Valeria Covarelli and Chiara Dall’Aglio illustrated InnoCom's aim and the work being carried out by project partners. Sharing and learning from existing innovative good practices from around Europe is especially valuable when dealing with innovative tools, and the development and deployment of AI tools to improve public sector communications will be of increasing importance. PAs everywhere must consider adopting it in their activities and policies, even if the process is likely to move slowly.

From its launch in 1999, Forum PA is the largest Italian event dedicated to innovation and Public Administration, held yearly in Rome. The Forum brings together Ministries, regions, Public Institutions and all stakeholders who work in or are involved at various levels of PA in Italy.
