Irish Stakeholders prepare for International Meeting
On 16th September 2024, InnoCom's Irish Stakeholder Group convened to review the project's progress and discuss key agendas driving regional and international collaboration. A central focus of the meeting was the Peer Review process of the French partner's policy, alongside a thorough evaluation of the recently approved Regional Analysis, which aims to identify strategic pathways for Carlow County’s economic development.
The group also discussed plans for the upcoming Interregional Exchange visit of all InnoCom partners to Ireland, which will provide stakeholders with an immersive experience exploring Ireland's business support ecosystem. This event will feature engagements with local government, business support agencies, NGOs, and key representative bodies.
In addition, the group made preparations for the Carlow Business Day initiative set for October 2024. Supported by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and the Carlow County Council's Local Enterprise Office, the event will feature various activities, including a motivational breakfast, strategic networking sessions, and a tourism forum. A special session focusing on fostering entrepreneurship among young men highlights the group's commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
