Partners and stakeholders gathered for an interregional exchange meeting and study visit organized in Bucharest on 18-19 June. During the meeting, speakers from local and national agencies and ministries presented good practices in SME support and communication, such as a “smart pdf” application form that is more user-friendly, and a portal to find funding opportunities at all levels, from local to EU programs.

Host Bucharest Ilfov Regional Development Agency arranged an interesting program of study visits to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Impact Hub, which supports startups, and the NOD Makerspace, a co-working space for artisans. The speakers and the visits illustrated some of the approaches adopted to support entrepreneurship, and attendees traveled home with inspiration for the policy improvements to be proposed.
