InnoCom is part of a partnership presenting a workshop at the EU Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels on 10 October 2024. The panel discussion, entitled Resistance, Recovery, Resilience, Reinforcement: European Values Across Borders features speakers, among others, from border regions of Ukraine, Moldova and Ireland who will examine the role of territorial cooperation carried out by projects such as InnoCom in helping public administrations translate the values of the European Community into concrete policies while supporting the pre-accession efforts of Candidate Countries. 

Registration for the workshop and other European Week of Regions and Cities events is open until the end of September.

The discussion is part of a series of high-profile panels organized during the European Week of Regions and Cities, which this year runs from 8-10 October, with more than 80 presentations, events and workshops scheduled. It is Europe’s premier event dedicated to cohesion policy, held in Brussels in October and annually attracting thousands of administrators, policymakers, and regional and local development experts from across Europe and beyond.

The session has been organized by InnoCom partners, the Regional Office for Cross Border Cooperation Suceava Romania – Ukraine, the Regional Development Agency of Ivano-Frankivsk region (UA), Chisinau Regional Development Agency (MD), Nord West Regional Development Agency (RO) and Botosani County Council (RO).

Earlier this year, InnoCom welcomed discovery partners from two Candidate Countries, the Development Agency of the City of Trebinje (BiH) and Voznesensk City Council (UA).
