In Pfaffenhofen the 2° PAFundDU information event on heating

On Thursday, 11 January, the second PAFundDU information event on heating took place in the Festsaal in Pfaffenhofen. This time, the focus was on how heating costs can be saved and whether your own building is suitable for a heat pump. The city and municipal utilities will also be providing information about the heat contracting programme and the new regulations on replacing heating systems in the Building Energy Act.

Efficient heating and saving heating costs was a key topic: with correctly adjusted radiators and careful user behaviour, environmentally conscious citizens can not only protect the environment, but also reduce their heating costs. Participants were given valuable tips on how to save energy when heating.

The Building Energy Act, which comes into force in 2024, aims to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and protect the population from rising oil and gas prices. Citizens were informed about the new regulations for switching to renewable energies when installing new heating systems.

Heat pumps and their suitability for your building: Heat pumps are a climate-friendly solution for building owners who are planning to replace their heating system. The city council explained how you can check for yourself whether your building is suitable for a heat pump.

All-round carefree package for heating at home: heat contracting is like renting a heating system. You don't pay for the heating itself, but only for the heat that is used. Heating installation, maintenance and, if necessary, repairs are carried out by the operator. Stadtwerke Pfaffenhofen presented its heat supply programme.

Speakers and dialogue partners included the first mayor Thomas Herker Christiane Roth, VerbraucherService Bayern and consulting engineer, employees from the climate protection and sustainability department of the city administration and Stadtwerke Pfaffenhofen as well as Josef Tyroller from Wolf GmbH.
