Regional seminar Dag van de Energiegemeenschap in Roeselare

On the 26th of September 2024 the city of Roeselare co-organized the ‘Dag van de Energiegemeenschap’ in Roeselare. About 100 participants enjoyed an inspiring afternoon filled with presentations, panel discussions.

The seminar dived into the importance of flexibility to build an efficient and future-proof energy system. Participants discovered how business parks can use real-time data to better understand their energy performance. This was demonstrated via case studies from various sectors, such as logistics or food.

The LEEWAY project shared valuable experiences from our European partner countries on how they approach energy communities. The TEAH initiative introduced their First aid for energy communities’ approach and panel discussion dived into the way forward for energy communities. The day was concluded with a unique site visit to VDL Bus and their production line of electric buses.
