The first two meetings by the Municipality of Pfaffenhofen
In the last months the Municipality of Pfaffenhofen organized two meetings about the project.
The fisrt one at the end of the June: an expert - “Get-to-know meeting” between City of Roselare and the municipal utility of Pfaffenhofen. The purpose of the event was that the representatives of the city of Roeselare and their experts (Ine Pertry - sub-project leader and heat network expert; Pieter Vandenbroucke - climate protection officer) and a heat network expert of the Stadtwerke Pfaffenhofen (Mr. Georg Häring - operation heat networks PAF) could get to know each other and exchange their respective experiences in the first approach. In addition to the presentation of the network configuration, the interest was also perceived in possibly discussing relevant contractual aspects when drafting contracts with customers and third parties. On the one hand, such experiences can perhaps be used as examples in the "political guidelines" to be drawn up later; on the other hand, such points are also important for legal aspects, e.g. for future energy communities or other legal forms for which the EU currently has an increased need for validation.
After that, the second event was on July, 24th, a Stakeholder meeting in Pfaffenhofen regarding the synergies with the LEEWAY-Project and the next concrete steps in Pfaffenhofen of the Municipal and "regional" heat next steps. The meeting was among the stakeholders from the city administration (Dr. Stapel, Hirschberger), the municipal utility of Pfaffenhofen (T. Wiringer, R. Gerlsbeck, G. Häring) and BEG (A. Herschmann, Dr. Klos).
