Focus on aerospace skills

One of strengths of the growing regional aerospace ecosystem is the wide range of highly specialised curricula delivered in the city of Forlì.

The University of Bologna has in Forlì its aerospace hub, with Batchelor and Honour degrees and a state-of-the-art interdepartmental research centre. Literally across the street, is the Aeronautics technical high-school, a vocational training school for aircraft maintenance and the national school for air-traffic controllers.

No wonder the first two local shareholder events that MAE co-organised in Forlì focused on aerospace skills!

On April 13 th , 2023, MAE worked along with regional clusters, the Region’s development agency and the local technopole to create an event that delivered the raw material for a white book on aerospace skills.

Later on in 2023, the InSpace Symposium launched by the European aerospace students association Euroavia was a further occasion for MAE to engage in a dialogue on skills.

Both events helped building a strengthening a cooperation with key local and regional stakeholders that is promising exciting new steps in 2024!
