MAE Second Stakeholders Meeting in Craiova

The South-West Oltenia Regional Development Agency, as a partner in the project MAE - Moving towards AErospace, co-funded by the Interreg Europe 2021-2027 Programme, organised the second stakeholders meeting of the project in the region on the 29th of February 2023.

Regional actors in this sector had the opportunity to analyse together best practice models from other European project partners countries, to identify new directions for development and new types of funding they can apply for.

The participants to the second stakeholders meeting were representatives of the Dolj County Council, the Dolj Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Craiova Aircraft Factory, the Craiova International Airport and the "Traian Vuia" High School, as well as representatives of private companies.

The Deputy General Director of the South-West Oltenia RDA, Mr Marius Vărgatu underlined that the involvement of all stakeholders in this field in the consultation process within the drafting of applicant guidelines within the Regional Program, for example, is particularly important as they can make a significant contribution in terms of identifying funding needs.
