Talent Boost Network Day in Helsinki

Team Jyväskylä participated in Business Finland’s Talent Boost Network Day in Helsinki on 21.3.2024 and got a lot of up-to-date and useful information to take home and put into action.

Talent Boost is a national programme in Finland whose aim is to make Finland attractive to international talents as well as facilitate their immigration to and integration in Finland by improving the employment opportunities into meaningful jobs/entrepreneurship corresponding to their potential and skills. 

Interreg MILEstone project works on similar goals of achieving better public policies to addresses the sustainable labour market inclusion of non-EU nationals. City of Jyväskylä as one of the partners in MILEstone project has selected Municipal Integration Plan (Jyväskylän kaupungin kotoutumisen edistämsen ohjelma) as the policy to be addressed and improved.

 Talent Central is the regional implementation of Talent Boost in Central Finland (carrying on Talent Hub ecosystem building) and provides the essential forum for utilizing and harnessing wide collaborative efforts among different key stakeholders across organizations and sectors for achieving MILEstone goals.

It feels great to see the holistic picture and how goals and objectives connect on local, national and international level.
