The Lithuanian Sea Museum, in collaboration with its partners, has successfully organised its third Sustainability Lab. This unique initiative welcomed companies, organisations, and individuals from all corners of Lithuania who share a deep commitment to environmental protection, sustainability, and the principles of reusing and recycling.

Taking place on 26 August 2023, the Sustainability Lab took place at Melnragė Beach, a beloved seaside destination in Klaipėda. At this gathering, representatives from the Klaipeda Regional Waste Management Center (KRWMC) took center stage, introducing innovative ideas from the MINEV project to an enthusiastic and engaged audience.

One of the highlights of the event was an interactive and entertaining quiz organized by the KRWMC. Participants of the Sustainability Lab were encouraged to put on their thinking caps and propose creative solutions while testing their knowledge on environmental best practices. Correct answers were rewarded with eco-friendly prizes, making learning about sustainability both enjoyable and rewarding.

Quiz example:

What should be done with waste to ensure that the Baltic coast is cleaner?

a) Bury it in sand

b) Throw it in the garbage bins located on the beach

c) Bring it home and dispose of it in your home containers

Try to guess!
