On 25 July 2023, the MINEV project stakeholders meeting was held in Bologna to present the projects and some good practices. The meeting was attended by 23 people, including:

1) ANCI-ER (National Association of Municipalities – Emilia-Romagna),
2) Bologna-Modena DMO,
3) 6 local municipalities plus the City of Turin,
4) 2 SMEs (one event organiser with a green division, a supplier of reusable cups for events),
5) 1 NGO.

Several departments and offices of the Metropolitan City were also present (e.g. Touristic Service, Social and Education Area, Cultural Department), directly involved in the organisation of different type of events or managing contributions for events.

Valeria Stacchini presented the general information about the MINEV project, including project partners, main goal, policy instrument addressed, workplan and activities. She also summed up the good practices shared by partners during the kick off meeting held in Malaga.

Emilia Obialero introduced the Turin experience in relation to the ISO20121 certification process, and the actions taken for both social and environmental sustainability of the events they organise.

Paolo Azzurro from ANCI-ER presented the #moNOuse Manifesto and guidelines; he also explained in detail the annual regional ATERSIR call for tenders that will be open until October and that can fund actions related to waste minimisation during events.

Finally, Silvia Marra from Last Minute Market reported on the Imola municipality's experience, with a focus on the memorandum with the Autodrome for the recovery of unsold food in relation to the F1 race.

Stakeholders were invited to attend and actively contribute to the next international MINEV project meeting in Bologna next November, and to report any other good practices.

The presentations are available here (in Italian).
